Jennifer Vroom of Van Isle Paddleboard Co. is an outdoor adventure enthusiast. She got into paddle boarding in Nanaimo a few years ago and loved it so much that she decided that she would share her passion with others.
Paddle boarding is about more than just standing up on a board. It is about nature, overcoming fears and challenges, taking a deep breath, slowing down, being silent, working together, an awareness and sense of respect for the environment, making meaningful connections and accomplishment as we experience this adventure alone but together. Fortunately, passionate followers of the up and coming sport, like Jennifer Vroom, enjoy spreading it and watching it grow and sharing the joy with others. This is where Van Isle Paddleboard Co. comes into play.
Unlike most paddleboard rental agencies, which only rent out the paddleboards for use, Van Isle offers everything from guided adventure tours to fitness classes with the paddleboard.
