**Stone Soup Volunteer Update**

We are there from 9 am till were done in the Kitchen.
Kitchen is located at St Paul's Anglican Church, 100 Chapel Street. Please enter through door of parking lot. Kitchen is downstairs to the right. Thanks for all you do! We are always looking for new volunteers, if you know anyone who would like to join us please invite them. We are busiest the first day, prepping Veggies. Have a wonderful day!
Chicken Noodle Soup Ingredient List (a crowd favourite, of course):
> 2kg Medium Diced Chicken, 12-15L Water/Stock, 1/2lb Butter, 1kg Diced Onions, 2.5kg Carrots (thin sliced or med diced), 5 Bay Leaves, 2tbsp Salt, 2tbsp Fresh Grated Pepper, 2 tbsp Granulated Garlic, 1tbsp Thyme, 1tbsp Thyme, 2tbsp Oregano, 1 bunch of Parsley.
Split Pea & Ham (who doesn't love a good ol' fashioned Ham & Pea?)
> 3-4 Ham Bones, Pork Stock/Water, 2.5kg Split Peas, 8 cups Diced Ham, 5 Onions (diced), 10 Carrots (sliced), Salt & Pepper to taste.
Gumbo Soup (a truly soup-erb recipe!)
> 2 cups Oil, 2 cups Flour, 12 cans Sliced Okra (drained), 1 bulb fresh Garlic (minced), 6 Bell Peppers (2 yellow, 2 orange, 2 red, diced), 1kg Onions (diced), 1kg Celery (sliced), 2kg Meat (chicken, pork, sausage, shrimp),  28oz cans Diced Tomatoes, 2tsp Cayenne Pepper, 1 bunch Fresh Parsley, 1 bunch Fresh Basil, 2tbsp Dried Oregano, 1tbsp Dried Thyme, 15L Water.
