There are no prerequisites or requirements to enjoy this initial flight. This flight is designed to introduce you to the joys of flying while accompanied by a certified Flight Instructor.

You will take to the skies in a new generation “Advanced Ultralight”. This “Transport Canada Approved” state-of-the-art aircraft offers comfortable seating for two (Pilot & Instructor) and user friendly controls.

There is no need for any special clothing or equipment (except your camera), our aircraft are cool in the summer and heated in the winter.

Action Ultralights Unlimited is a flight training school located at 5100-Langtry Rd, Duncan British Columbia (the Duncan Airport). They provide quality and professional flight instruction so you could become a confident and safe pilot while enjoying the benefits of flight.

Fly safely in the popular Genesis which offers an enclosed cockpit, side by side seating and user-friendly controls. You will be offered a chance to take control of the aircraft during this flight. You will also have an opportunity to ask all the questions you can think about while enjoying the amazing scenery of the Cowichan Valley and Gulf Islands from the air.

I got a one hour instructional flight as a Christmas gift from my daughter. Due to my location and a number of priorities, it took more than 6 month before I was able to make my way to Duncan, but yesterday I finely redeemed my gift. This was my first time up in an ultralight and I was eager to try it out. I was lucky enough to get a beautiful day and we took off from the Duncan flying club at 1:00PM in an duel control two seater. We headed out toward Crofton area and circled over Salt Spring, Galiano, Kuper/Thetis and back toward the Cowichan Valley, landing an hour later.

It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who like me has always wanted to fly, or if you just want to take an awsome sightseeing tour. I found the staff at Action U. very profesional, safety concius and accomodating. It was great to be able to take the controlls and see what it actualy feels like to fly one of these aircraft.
