Hi! I'm Elysia (or Lisi if you prefer). My training comprises more than 1500 hours in Biomedical Sciences, Materia Medica (herbs), Therapeutics, and Energetics, plus 500 hours of clinical experience, where we see patients in consultation and provide herbal treatment. In my clinical training so far I have seen a wide variety of conditions, from relatively simple to complex/chronic, and I truly believe that herbal medicine can be an incredible tool for healing a huge spectrum of medical concerns.

Though I see a wide variety of conditions in my practice, I have a particular passion for mental health and trauma, and the relationship between mind and body. I have a personal understanding of mental illness as a life-long sufferer and survivor of anxiety and depression, and it is my goal as a practitioner to create safety and comfort for my patients, to hear their stories without stigma and judgement, and to help them find what makes them feel better. I have an extensive background and knowledge in anti-oppressive practice and safe spaces, and it is of utmost importance to me that my clinic be 100% anti-racist, queer positive, trans and non-binary positive, trauma informed, and inclusive of all abilities, neurobiologies and mental health limitations.
