The heart of Hot Chocolates is our Belgian chocolate truffle, a synthesis of chocolate, butter, liqueurs, fruit and nut purees. The chocolatiers at Hot Chocolates create small batches and individually hand dip the truffles daily along with nut barks and fine confections.

The Cakebread Artisan Bakery method is handmade from scratch recipes, no mixes!

The breads are made with organic flour and time. Time to develop the flavour and create the crust and texture that is finished in store with hearth ovens. Cakes and pastries are meant to celebrate with and like the in-house made gelato and sorbets, can also be leisurely savoured with a cup of our famous hot chocolate.

At Hot Chocolates & Cakebread they pride themselves on transporting you to the great food experiences of the world just by visiting their shop on Fifth Street in Downtown Courtenay in the Comox Valley.
