Once each day is done, you will set up your tent under the ancient trees along the shore and begin to look back at the day’s adventures and wildlife sightings; the spectacular view towards the British Columbia Coast or Vancouver Island Mountains will take your breath away. And at the end of each day, evening campfires will completely relax you before you head off for a peaceful sleep before the next day’s adventure.

Each morning you’ll wake up to the sounds of forest birds singing their morning tunes or the snort of a harbour seal. You’ll hear the cry of eagles and experience the smell and sound of the ocean lapping the shore. After breakfast we’ll pack up, load the kayaks, and paddle the pristine waters to the next location.

"I don't know how 5 full days of kayaking in the Discovery Islands could have been improved. The guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and anxious to please. The location - around Read Island was beautiful with scenic, comfortable campsites. The food was exceptional in general, astounding for a camping trip. (Guides had been trained to prepare the meals by the chef who planned them!) The cooking and camping gear was extensive but the guides did ALL of the hard work, including hauling the kayaks way above the tide line for overnights. In addition, they would respond energetically to any extra requests.

"I joined the July 31 Discovery Island 6-day Kayaking trip and it was beyond AMAZING! the locations/islands we camped and stopped by were breathtaking and we were able to see wildlife from a very close distance (whales, seals, Eagles, Dolphins, tons of jellyfish). The serenity this trip has to offer is just beyond words. The camping equipment smelled fresh when opened and they are very new and easy to use. Sleeping mat & pillow were comfy. The food was just to die for, with a good variety and properly seasoned and prepared. We had crispy skin Salmon and cheesecake for the first night! How can you beat that?! Our guides Nolan and Josh were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They worked non-stop to make sure everyone is taken care of. Quite often I could hear someone in the group commenting "OMG they need to take a break!!"
