PREPARING FOR YOUR LASER TATTOO REMOVAL APPOINTMENT
1. Should you need us to apply a topical numbing cream ($5-$20 depending on the size of tattoo) please arrive 40 minutes prior to your appointment. The desired effects of the topical numbing cream can take up to 30 minutes to fully numb the area. This is suggested for anyone with a low threshold for pain.
2. Avoid sun exposure, use sunscreen, and cover up for four weeks prior to your first laser tattoo removal session. Tanned skin looks great, but it is more prone to adverse reactions.
3. Wear loose fitting clothing over the area to be treated
4. Consider taking Tylenol or another non-aspirin pain medication before your procedure as this can help alleviate any potential discomfort. Avoid taking aspirin and ibuprofen: They may cause you to bruise after your treatment.
5. Make sure the area to be treated is clean and free of lotions, perfumes, and cosmetics. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment.
